Subclass 820 – Temporary visa
Subclass 801 – Permanent residency (after eligibility is met)

📝 Who is Eligible?
To apply for the 820/801 visa:
You must be in Australia at the time of application and visa decision (820 stage)
You and your partner must be married or in a de facto relationship
Must provide evidence of a genuine and continuing relationship

🔄 Application Process (Summary)
Submit combined application for both 820 and 801

After ~2 years → submit for 801 permanent stage
801 visa granted → permanent residency
